College deadline is Feb. 28, 2007; high school deadline is May 15, 2007. Essays must be original work, analyzing any aspect of Xen by D.J. Solomon.  Use of the essay as part of the writer&#039;s school work in any capacity is permitted.  Submissions must be 1250-1500 words.  Cash prizes of $300-$500 will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of each competition.
