Way back in May or June a Miami-Dade County School district decided to ban 23 books. A federal judge has ruled that the schools must keep the books in the district until the judge can hear the case. Seems that the ban has been challenged by the American Civil Liberties Union because it violates 1st and 14th amendment rights of the students. The federal hearing is set for July 21.
