As for recording equipment, it didn&#039;t seem as if the hotel had a sound system I could plug into (one of those older systems where everything&#039;s hidden behind secret wall panels).  So I just used my trusty iRiver, and plunked it down on the table in front of Paula Guran, and then went to find a seat.  That was done with the internal audio, not even with a microphone.

I love my iRiver.  I wish they hadn&#039;t &quot;updated&quot; the newer ones so that you can&#039;t plug an external mic into them.  I still have to obtain one of those neat little &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.giant-squid-audio-lab.com/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Giant Squid&lt;/a&gt; mics, though.  That&#039;ll make recording stuff at next year&#039;s WFC even better!</description>
