    Hi, Sheila and Lorrie!

I regularly enjoy listening to “With Class.” As someone who is employed in a junior high school, and as an author who writes YA fiction, it’s right up my street.

My latest novel, “Chion,” was published in January 2007. If you girls would like a free copy, drop me an email. (I had trouble finding contact info on your site.)

By the way, I’m from way across the pond in Ireland.

    Keep up the good work.

    Darryl

    Hi Sheila and Lorrie-

I teach Middle School Math, but the other half of my heart is with Reading. I have enjoyed your show. Thanks for your reaction to the previews of the “Bridge to Terabithia.” Everytime I saw it I would cringe. It is one of my most cherished books and was pesimistic about what Disney had done. My sister begged be to go, so kicking and screaming, I went. I am pleased to tell you that it exceeded all expectations. The previews emphasized the fantasy world; the movie captured the true essence of the friendship and connection between Jess and Leslie. I am proud to say that I cried my eyes out. I hope that you enjoyed the movie with your class…and that at least some of them cried too!

    Brenda
