Call me a sucker for a SciFi romance but I like Linnea Sinclair. This star-crossed remix of Romeo and Juliet is a bit formulaic but still manages to entertain. As the layers of each of the main characters are pealed away, you see more and more of Sinclair’s abillity at world building. She does an excellent job of fleshing out the “side characters” along the way and takes the reader on a very enjoyable romp through space/time.

Ya, it’s a bit fluffy. There’s not a lot of “meaty hardcore geekness” here, but there’s a lot of good story telling and that’s good enough for me.

If you liked this book, you’ll like Accidental Goddess and Finders Keepers, also by Linnea Sinclair.
