Note: Make sure you are aware of the glossary in the back of the book before you try to take on this book.
The first 250 pages of this book were confusing, mainly because the worlds McDonald paints are so detailed that the regional slang/ terminology make some sentences undecipherable. Once I realized that there was a glossary for exactly this problem, the reading became much easier and I was able to enjoy the book much more seriously. This is a good read but definitely not a light one. I would say a must read and most likely a multiple award nominee.
