I am probably alone in this opinion, but I have to wait for his print versions to reach my door or library. I can listen to news/talk pod casting all day long...but i have a lot of trouble with story-style pod casts(i had always had trouble with audio books too). I find i like to reread passages and lose myself in pages. i don't even find e-book comfortable for long term reading(but i can read short stories okay in digital).

As for book signings...id rather just go to hear a writer speak about their writing or just talk to them about their work then get something signed. I know that its important to others and could potentially be worth alot of money, but it just doesnt interest me much. Maybe getting a picture with the writer would be better.

small question: can you guys talk about writers in the field of gaming in the future? pen and paper or video game-style scripters are pretty talented as well...and it seems like alot of them do cross over into books(brad metzer, bob cox, chris claremont, ed greenwood, alan campell, robin d laws, etc etc)

Ok, I feel like I'm the only person who hasn't listened to 7th Son. I'm finally going to cave and try listen to the first two books this week before the third drops. Then maybe I'll give that Sigler fellow's work a go. I hear people seem to like what he does as well.

On book signings - I usually don't get my name inscribed because I like to collect (I'd never sell them). But then, one of my prize possessions is a book inscribed by Neil Gaiman where he wishes me a happy birthday.

You mentioned David Duncan's new book in the Library segment.

I had a chance to record a reading, and then sat down with him for a chat not too long ago.

It's in the latest episode of World Fantasy 2008 podcast:
