Show Notes: Reviews, reviews, reviews

This week, Michael, Summer, and Michael sit back and let all the listener submitted reviews do all of the work

Listener Review: Isabel Martinez reviews The Devil You Know by Mike Carey.

Can you do a 3-minute audio book review? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Book title, author, publisher, cost
  • Must have been published within the past calendar year
  • Why did you like the book?
  • What about the book will you remember a year from now?
  • Why would you recommend this book to other potential readers?

The Library: This week, we talk about Blood Engines by T. A. Pratt; Natural Ordermage by L. E. Modesitt, Jr; Fatal Revenant by Stephen R. Donaldson; End of the World Blues by Jon Courtenay Grimwood.

Don’t forget, you can also comment on books listed in The Library… look through the listings and feel free to post your thoughts and comments there.

Listener Review: Ian Campbell in Vancouver BC reviews Sandworms of Dune, by Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert.

Listener Review: Anna in WA reviews Journey Between Worlds, by Sylvia Engdahl.

Collaborative Project: “The Tick-Tock Hobbit” is underway! Have you written a story in the Tick-Tock Hobbit universe? Post it on your own website, and link to it here, or at the “Cover to Cover” forums. Let’s see how far we can take this world…

Submitting Listener comments: If you have any suggestions or comments, please let us know! “Cover to Cover” has it’s own call-in line, 206-350-READ! That’s 206-350-7323, or just email Michael with a comment you’ve recorded yourself!

  1. John VanSeters says on :

not downloading from either itunes or website.

  2. Arkle says on :

That’s odd cause for me this is the first time it came on time as opposed to one or two days later.

  3. Mike Shevdon says on :

Hi, I had the same problem as John, as it seemed to ’stick’ at 279B. To fix it, I unsubscribed and then resubscribed and it seems to have resolved the issue.

Maybe there was an old file with corrupted meta-data or something?

    Cheers

    Mike

  4. Charlie says on :

Not working for me either. I’m getting a 1K file when I try to download it manually. (I really need to get off my butt and get my iPod working with my Linux system.)

  5. RiverTam says on :

I tried to listen on the website and even that won’t work. Should I keep tring? Will I miss out on anything interesting?

  6. Summer Brooks says on :

Could you give 281B another try? Problem should be fixed…
