Show Notes: Interview with Karen Miller
Interview: Michael, Summer, Michael and Lorrie talk with Karen Miller, author of the fantasy duology Innocent Mage and Awakened Mage.
Karen talks about her Kingmaker, Kingbreaker series and the universe it’s set it, about writing fantasy, and her upcoming new series which should hit US shelves in April 2008.
It’s a series that hooked Lorrie from the start, and that’s saying something.

Hey! I’ve never commented before, but I’ve been listening to your podcasts for about a year (with a healthy delving into past episodes too).
I paused 290B to jump in here on the idea of using feeds and subscriptions for putting out novels in series or chapters. Just wanted to say
“Do it!”
Everybody can support feeding writers (well, almost everybody). and Nobody wants to keep on paying homage to the corporate beasts eating the forests. It’ll work. I dropped some coin in the hat while I was here .
I’m an engineer who spends time listening to podcasts and reading while I’m on mass transit on both West and East Coasts. It provides a quiet time for me and supports my environmental leanings.
Yesterday I was talking about using transit with a colleague and he started talking about podcasts. Having someone else in my profession actually start telling me about podcasts was a first.
“Yes!” I jumped in, “The worm is starting to turn”
You guys have more than just a feed. You have an established voice in the community, and I dig your support for the kiddies.
Later,
Lyle
