		<description>I&#039;ve not read the other books since space opera is my thing.

But when it comes to space opera, this is a fine example, a real non-stop page turner.  What really makes it stand out for me is the attention to detail in the battle scenes - the technology is believable, detailed enough to be interesting and cool without being boring, while the trickery the crew of the Lynx must use to survive in a hopelessly one-sided battle is amazing.

I hope we see more of this kind of thing from Scott.</description>

		<description>this book is excellent space opera/military scifi. its epic and the setting creation is something you can sink your teeth into.

its almost shame that the uglies/pretties books have sold so well, he might never return to this again. I dont have anything against them...but i wish he would tell more stories in this setting.</description>
