Humanity has learned to co-exist with fairies and elves, brownies and druids, but sometimes it seems the introduction of magic has only created new breeds of criminals, and new ways to fight them.
In Washington DC, Laura Blackstone is the public relations director for the Fey Guild. Janice Crawford is a druidess who helps out when the DC SWAT team needs magical backup. Mariel Tate is a lead investigator for the IAS, Inter-Agency Security, a group that coordinates missions that require the participation of multiple law enforcement agencies.
They are all the same woman. Laura has been juggling different identities for years, in order to gather intelligence for the IAS and the Druidic College. Sometimes, she doesn’t know who she is anymore. Laura’s different worlds are about to collide, and if she can’t keep it together, she’ll have more to worry about than having to retire an identity. She may lose her life.
