dad messed with one in the store today and kind of liked it, said it is really like the kindle just thinner and lighter weight to it. looks cool to me.
I don't ever want to say anything bad about the show, but could you guys maybe get off the ebooks and readers things a bit? it's cool and all, but i want to hear more about the books themselves and the writers.

hugs and thanks in advance,
Darcy

And listen to Anna, she's cool and gives good reviews. Don't make me come down there and punch people. hehe,

It makes me feel so special when Stackpole doesn't listen to what I'm saying and then poo-poohs whatever it was in order to make the same tired points he always makes. He totally missed the point of my voicemail in this episode. I'd call again, but since it will likely be another two months before he'd get the response, I figured it's probably best just to leave a comment here.

#2 I'm one of those people that loves tripping across notes in a book. Tho' of course I never write in anyone else's books (to all the librarians out there).
#3 I wonder if that is the reason for the name - sure to get everyone's attention.

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/nook/index.asp

Just saw this in my email today. I wanna play with one, and the idea of being able to share books ROCKS! I also think it's curious that there's a pre-order offer... you get a copy of Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point free if you pre-order a Nook. I also think the choice of free book is a curious yet hopeful synergy :)
