Summer Brooks

Posted on Monday, 11 Sep 2006

Summer Brooks is the producer for the Dragon Page and other FarPoint Media shows. She is a an avid writer and reader who first stepped into the realms of speculative fiction by reading Anne McCaffrey’s Pern novels in high school. She’s been a fan ever since.

Summer is the resident SF media geek, putting her ninja fact-checker skills to good use in the arcane knowledge of science fiction and fantasy in television and film. In addition to being the producer for the fast-growing family of FarPoint Media shows, she desires to write and produce a kick-ass scifi TV series or miniseries that leaves an impression on people.

In addition to knowing way too much about TV, movies and books, Summer is a writer with a handful of publishing credits to her name, a recovering Unix systems administrator, and website administrator.

Right now, outside of an addiction to books and movies, she doesn’t have much free time, but she’s working on that.
