With “Enterprise” ending, what’s left on TV?

February 2, 2005 by Summer Brooks

Latest ‘Star Trek’ Series to End in May

“Star Trek: Enterprise,” the latest incarnation of one of the most storied franchises in televised science-fiction history, will end its four-season run in May, broadcaster UPN said on Wednesday.

UPN said the last episode would air on Friday, May 13. The series generated 98 episodes over its run, although it struggled in the ratings.

Andromeda is also ending after this current season, but I haven’t watched it since the second season, after they completely trashed what had been a dark and fairly decent show. I never got into Enterprise, so it’s not really that big of a loss to me.

As long as I’ve got the new Galactica, I think I can live with whatever speculative shows remain on the air these days. I’m still getting used to Point Pleasant, so that show’s still in the “wait and see” mode for me.
