Cover to Cover #47: Cory Doctorow

January 30, 2003 by Michael R. Mennenga

Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom by Cory DoctorowInterview Cory Doctorows’s latest book, Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom is out and doing very well on Amazon.com. However, Cory has also made the novel available for you, free to download under a Creative Commons license (and also at Project Gutenberg). Evo’s already read it and highly recommends it to anyone looking for a glimpse into one possible future… in a land not so far far away.

Cory joins us to talk about copyright, new media, and the impact blogging is having on the world. Great insight, interesting commentary and the occasional heated debate can be heard on this show!

Cory is heavily involved in the following projects:

  • His website: Craphound.com
  • Co editor of BoingBoing
  • Outreach Coordinator for the Electronic Frontier Foundation

The News
Bed music provided by Floyd Mogan. His song, Angie’s Song, is made possible by a license from Creative Commons.

Hey Musicians! Would you like to hear your music on the Dragon Page? Drop us an email and let us know!
