Cover to Cover #40: Dave Rineberg

December 12, 2002 by Michael R. Mennenga

Venus & Serena by Dave RinebergInterview: Dave Rineberg is a fascinating person with amazing accomplishments. As a tennis pro and hitting coach for none other than Venus and Serena Williams, he’s written three books on his time in the trenches with this powerful and controversial family.

Dave has also penned his first fantasy novel, In Search of Dorothy, due out sometime in the summer of 2003. This book takes us 20 years after Dorothy’s return to Kansas and asks a simple question: what if it wasn’t a dream? Dave weaves in concepts from both the orginal book as well as the movie ‘The Wizard of Oz”… it sounds very interesting! Advanced copies should be on the way soon to the two of us, so stay tuned for a review!
