Cover to Cover #122: Walter Hunt / Michelle Welch

July 12, 2004 by Michael R. Mennenga

The Dark AscentInterview: We found Walter H. Hunt at WesterCon 57 and kidnapped brought him back to the studio to talk about his latest book, The Dark Ascent. Often lumped in with the military SF genre, Walt tells us why that is not completely true. And in the process, we get a great understanding of his style of writing.

The Bright and The DarkInterview: Michelle Welch is a local author who was also at WesterCon 57. We had a conversation with her on the convention floor about her latest book, The Bright and the Dark. We had Michelle on last year speaking about her first novel. It’s nice to see she’s followed it up with a semi-stand alone sequel.

Music
Heather Alexander was the Musical Guest of Honor at WC 57. Great tunes for all SFF fans, that’s for sure! We even feature a piece on our show…
