Cover to Cover #240: Tim Powers and Writers of the Future

Three Days to NeverThis week we have a roundtable discussion from this year's World Fantasy Convention. It's a chat that spans everything from Tim's new book, Three Days to Never, his involvement as a judge of the Writers of the Future contest, a little detail on what finalists go through at their "bootcamp", and more. Just remember, it's always about the pneumatic tubes.

The Library: Mike, Summer and Joe do a quick fly-by of some of the books in the backlog that has become the Studio Library. Never fear, we will get through the rest of the backlog very soon!

Upcoming additions: "Cover to Cover" will soon be including interviews submitted by guest interviewers, and reviews by guest reviewers. The call went out for guest content, and the response so far has been positive. More book coverage is always a good thing!

  1. Excellent show. Proof of the super in the natural world is how you convinced them to talk into a lighter and it would record their voices.

  2. Oh, I'm going to enjoy this one. I've enjoyed Tim Powers work for years. I wasn't aware that he had a new one out; I'm going to have to pick it up.

  3. Michael Mennega says

Glad to be back talking books. I missed doing Cover to Cover. More next week and much more to come in the future.

Lag time is over, the Dragon roars again. 😉

  4. Good to see you back doing some shows!
