January 12, 2004 by Michael R. Mennenga

Dabel Brothers ProductionsSean Jordan
Sean is the Managing Editor of Dabel Brothers Productions. They produce graphic novels (you might call them comics) from classic fantasy books. They are currently working on some George R. R. Martin classic tales, bringing these books to the world of comics. Sean talks about their unique approach to graphic novels and shares with us some other authors (most of which have been our past guests) which will soon have their books “graphicallized” by Dabel Brothers.

The Rise of the PhoenixDawn Rivers Baker
Dawn is a new author of science fiction and fantasy, penning her first novel, The Rise of the Phoenix. It’s a fantasy-ish tale, complete with gods, supplicants and a planet which has stopped it’s rotation. OK, so it’s got some sci-fi ramifications as well… but from a fantastical point of view.
