I think I'm slipping into a severe case of TBS: The Brady Syndrome -- "Everywhere I look on the web, it's Sigler this and Sigler that. It's all about Sigler. Sigler! Sigler! Sigler!"

Well, to quote my own show: "Maybe one day, I'll be as cool as Sigler. (pause) No, I won't."

You are the man, Sigler! 😉 Keep the faith!

  2. Welcome back Evo and great show. Scot Sigler is personally responsible for my cases of dysentery.
Ancestor has consistently scared the shit out of me!

Tee, you need not prove your coolness to anyone. Morevi had me totally addicted for weeks...very cool indeed.

  3. I can't find the info for the voice acting for Infection...I wanna!

  4. Thanks guys for the great interview with Scott Sigler. I'm hooked on Ancestor, loved Earthcore and am looking forward to catching the "Infection" soon! Thanks, Scott.

P.S. - I like what you've done with the new format, but I also miss the "feed the dragon" and the library segment - so I guess you can count the two of us now (woohoo).

  7. I've never heard an audio book before. I now know where to start!

Thanks again for another great show 😀

Ohh, Scott. This was the Cover to Cover I've been waiting for. How shiny to hear another interview from you. You are my second favorite podcast author, ranking right behind Tee Morris. (Sorry, we all have our favorites)
However, I do have to vote for you as the most horrific author to haunt my every day experiences. I happened to be out and about in the Southern California farmlands last month. Lo and behold there were...cows. Black and white cows. Goosebumps ran up and down my arms. My teeth chattered. I couldn't speak. All I could envision were hundreds of Ancestors sprouting from these placid bovines and raping the world. Thanks, Scott. I will never be able to wander my part of Southern California ever again without wondering if I'll get home safely. Ancestor Rocks! And if you haven't read Earthcore, buy it now!

  9. Hey Guys,

Love the show. Also love Earthcore and Ancestor - well done Scott, keep them coming.

The comments regarding Peter Hamilton and the Judas Unchained book were interesting. PFH has written a bucket of scifi in the past that I am sure (hope) you are aware of, these include the Nights Dawn trilogy (if you want space opera, devastating weapons and cool nano/bio tech that is where you start) as well as his Greg Mandel novels.

I am sure you guys were aware of them but I found it a little annoying that the largest part of the section on the new book by PFH was dedicated to Evo's dysentery ! I know he is coming on the show in a few months but more could have been done to highlight this novel (I got a copy in London book store while holidaying in the UK recently, a signed copy that cost 49 pounds - about $100 US, $120 AUD !).

If you guys have reviewed any of his other novels in the path would you mind sending me a note as to which C2C I can find them in as I would love to listen to them.

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers,

    SB

Okay...I'm starting to feel the love...

...and this morning, I became an Ancestwhore. I feel so cheap!

(You, Scott Sigler, are totally f---ing Airwolf!)
