Charlie tells us how Joe has ended up “in exile” in the Bronx and is trying to work his way back into enough good graces so he can go back to Manhattan without being killed; and how Joe starts getting closer to some of the most closely guarded secrets of the clans, all leading up to some explosive revelations in the planned 5th and final book in the series.

Interview: This week, Mike and Summer talk with Edward M. Lerner about Juggler of Worlds, the next book about the Puppeteers. He tells about how the story has progressed from Fleet of Worlds, and the more mysteries about what’s happening to the humans and the Kzinti.
Edward also has a new book in his own universe, Fool’s Experiments, which will be out in November. This story is a near-future tale about the impact of the quest to create artificial life and it’s evolution into artificial intelligence, and how accidents happen despite the best intentions and careful precautions.

We talk about the characters and the more contemporary feel of their speech, the more intimate nature of relationships and intrigues, and about how the buzz about these stories surround the writing style of the battle scenes.

He gives us a history on building Jack up by going back to his teen years in the Pine Barrens when he’s slowly discovering his abilities as well as defining his loyalties to his friends.
Interview: Hugo Award nominee and winner Charles Stross is in studio to chat about his latest book, Saturn’s Children. Charles explains how the story is really a Heinlein styled period piece, an homage to Heinlein’s late period, and tells the story of an android designed to be a sex robot for humans, only humans have gone extinct before she rolls off the assembly line.
Why else would a robot have been built with nipples?
Interview: Mike, Summer and Mike talk with the author and illustrator of Mr Fooster, Traveling on a Whim, Tom Corwin and Craig Frazier.
Tom and Craig tell us of how they met, and how they began collaborating, and how the inspiration for the actual story was one of Craig’s existing illustrations. We also talk about the back and forth of the collaborative process, and bringing the words and the style of the art together, and growing the project into the finished version.
Interview: This week, Michael and Summer talk with Matthew Wayne Selznick about his Internet push to promote the print version of his highly successful podcast novel, Brave Men Run. He also tells us about the many incarnations the story has gone through, as well as the plans behind the bumrush of Amazon.
Interview: This week, Michael, Michael and Summer talk with acclaimed comic book writer Mike Carey about his second novel, Vicious Circle. The follow-up to The Devil You Know continues the saga of exorcist Felix Castor and his struggles with whether or not he can do good with his unique abilities or not, and the consequences of some of his past decisions.
Now we just have to wait until the US publishing schedule catches up with the UK schedule, since the 4th book in this series is coming out in the UK this coming fall.
